ZACHARY FRAZEE
Professional Dance Instructor
Zach specializes in classical ballet, modern ballet and rhythm tap. His training includes a BFA degree in Dance from SUNY Brockport,Ballet Prestige, Flower City Ballet, and Jody B’s Studio of Dance. Frazee has worked with multiple dance companies across the country including Garth Fagan Dance, Northwest Dance Project, Hubbard Street Chicago, Cas Public and Nevada Ballet Theatre. Frazee has danced with James Hasen/Assemblage Dance, William Evans, Northwest Dance Project, as well as performed at multiple dance festivals and events nationwide including Rochester Fringe Festival, Pasadena Dance Festival, DUMBO Arts Festival, and the Richmond Choreographer’s Showcase. Zachary Frazee is a professional dancer, choreographer and teacher based in Rochester, NY. He received his BFA in Dance from SUNY Brockport in 2014 , and soon after joined the New York State Ballet as a Company Dancer and Assistant Rehearsal Director. He danced with NYSB from 2014-2017, and now is performing with the company again as a Guest Dancer. Frazee has also worked and trained with companies and artists such as James Hansen Assemblage Dance, Garth Fagan Dance, Flower City Ballet, Northwest Dance Project, Doug Varone & Dancers Summer Workshop, William Evans, Cheryl Johnson, Rose Pasquarello Beauchamp, and post recently has joined BIODANCE as a Company Dancer. His choreographic work has been presented locally with the New York State Ballet, throughout New York City, and at events such as the Rochester Fringe Festival, Brockport Alumni Dance Choreographer’s Showcase, Contemporary Choreographer’s Showcase at Dance Days of Buffalo, Penfield Dance Team Showcase, Kaleidoscopic Domain Dance Concert, the Vision of Sound New Music & Dance Festival, Dance With Utica, SUNY Brockport Graduation Dances and several local dance competitions. When he is not performing and choreographing, Frazee also teaches locally at three different dance schools: Ballet Prestige, Fitzsimmons Dance Factory, and Jody B’s Studio of Dance, where he mainly teaches ballet and modern technique.
